Gibran Dive Guest House Kri sits on a private beach area with direct access to a protected bay. The house reef under the jetty offers snorkeling with blacktip reef sharks, turtles, and varied corals. Guests can swim from the over-water bungalows and enter the water during high tide to explore the reef.

Over-Water Bungalows

The property offers over-water cabins with private verandas, hammocks, and chairs for lounging. These bungalows provide views of the sea and the reef directly below. Guests sleep on raised beds with mosquito nets, and the sound of waves is audible at night.

Dining

A daily Asian breakfast includes local specialties such as banana leaf cake and crepes, plus fresh fruits. Lunch and dinner offer freshly caught fish, chicken, vegetables, and rice. Guests can buy cold Bintangs and soft drinks from the on-site freezer.

Diving and Activities

Gibran has its own dive shop with new Zeepro brand BCDs and regulators, offering dives at nearby sites like Cape Kri. Day and half-day snorkeling tours are organized by the staff, including trips to Piaynemo and Sauwandarek village. The resort can arrange airport shuttle service from Waisai for an additional charge.

Practical Information

Electricity is available from 6:30 PM to midnight each evening. The guest house has free private parking and is pet-friendly at no extra charge. Guests should bring cash because there are no ATMs or credit card terminals on Kri Island.
